LoopFuse Marketing and Sales Automation SuckJuly 22, 2008 | posted by Michael Kane

Friend of mine has been busy blogging over at consideropen.com only to be slammed by the phenomena I like to call ‘retarded CEO of LoopFuse comment shower’, whos marketing and sales automation software sucks, not that I even care to read about it really. CEO of LoopFuse, Roy Russo has proven several things by commenting the way he did, one being that he has zero people skills. I’m not only going to go on about how rude, immature and fucking stupid this dickhead was in replying the way he did, I’m also going to talk about how NOT to promote your product, LoopFuse can learn from this, really, they can’t get any worse so here goes.
This guy is beyond being a complete fuck up, he’s arrogant, has an ego that needs to be chopped down a notch and owes Lauren a fucking apology for the way he acted in a LoopFuse Review . Once he publicly apologies to her on her blog post, this will go away. Otherwise, get ready for a little ripple that I like to call, pin the tale on the moron. What do you think 1400+ unique blog posts about how crap a service LoopFuse is, not to mention how crap a personality it has running it will do to his company? Yeah, I see this going to the shitter pretty fast too.
“LoopFuse is a Marketing Automation Suite, NOT a web analytics package. Hence the price, hence the “extra functionality”.
… and you can view the click-stream. Trial’s are free, brain-cells aren’t.
Thanks for the plug, though. ;)”
You like sarcasm Roy? Guess what, there are over 37thousand BH’s/SEOs/Webmasters in my personal network alone that would love to share their sarcastic comments with you. I KNOW you’re thrilled to hear that.
It’s no secret, my people skills are pretty fucking awesome, you don’t get invited to the googleplex every day for having shit for skills, to talk at seminars if you were not good at what you do, but when something bothers me, when someone gets under my skin, i’m NOT afraid to say so, and I will tell it how it is. I don’t mind throwing around a few threats either, and like I’ve told many before, call my bluff if you think it is one, do it, make my day that much better.
So promoting yourself online, well one point you need to keep in mind is to never ever lash out at negative reviews, conduct yourself professionally online, or as my friend Jeremy over at shoemoney.com once said, ‘blog comments travel faster than the speed of light’…whada ya know!!! He was right
Keep in mind, not all publicity is in fact good publicity. If you get 500 people chanting the same review, you’re most likely going to get shit for clients if those reviews start ranking, sure one or two wont matter much, but when word gets out, you’re in the dog house. Period.
Always remember that it’s the client that feeds you, just because you have made enough off past clients, that does not mean you’re safe to bash new ones, on the contrary, ‘what makes you, can break you’ and in this case, it’s your paying customers and potential ones. Bashing them means you’re simply hacking away at your own life chord.
Guys, use LoopFuse’s poor behavior as an example, instead of effectively tackling the review and spinning it around to their advantage by possibly changing the reviewers mind about the product, or at least fixing it with a professional discussion so users reading both the review and the comments side with you, Loop Fuse went ahead with a piss poor job of a come back and insulted not ONLY the blogger in question, but all the blog readers.
Roy, ray, whoever you all are, fix this or take it to another level by slamming me with a sarcastic reply too
Go on, make my fucking day, and Lauren, don’t worry, we bloggers stick together no matter what!

Uh oh, there goes the fly in their ointment of a blog reviewer. Now they have MK on their ass!!! This cracked me up, give the world and I’m game Mike.
Thumbs up for standing up for decent bloggers, i’m sure it means a lot to many of them out there.

That was infinitely hilarious. You’ve totally made my day.
Are you aware that this post is now on page one of Google for LoopFuse?
You also bring up some excellent points. I had no personal issue with LoopFuse when I wrote the initial review, and if they’d tried, they might have been able to change my mind.
For instance, why not offer me a live demo with someone from their team? Why not make logical arguments instead of sinking to petty insults, at least? I’m a reasonable person. They definitely could have handled it better.
The funniest part is that the post seems to have ended up on StumbleUpon. Clearly the post itself wasn’t destined to be viral, so I can only assume it was due to LoopFuse’s behavior.

Ash, Str_0ke, I couldn’t approve your comments guys, come on haha Even I dislike the guy but damn boys, those were some new cuss words there, rephrase um and ill accept no worries just bare in mind, use words the ladies reading the blog have at least heard before!
Lauren, keep up those nifty blog posts
July 22nd, 2008 at 3:53 pm
wow, here’s what Roy just commented on the blog post:
“Can you please get your little webmaster friend to blog more about us? Frankly, Michael Kane has led to us printing money!”
He clearly has no idea.

Mike, give the word already, it will explain to this noob what bad pr is all about.
July 22nd, 2008 at 4:41 pm
Ummm, guys… right at this moment, LoopFuse is either: spamming our blog comments with what look like injection strings or just trying to attempt a DOS attack.
We’re up to 25 random strings, and it’s growing by the second. wtf?
July 22nd, 2008 at 4:57 pm
(Roy commented her telling me not to cry, that it was just business.)
Roy, free publicity feels good? I’m sure it does, specially for a site that generates as little traffic as yours does. For a business ‘printing money’ with an alexa rank of 600k+ (about the equivalent of my personal blog here), I say that’s pretty much rubbish traffic for a company such as yours mate. Want to see what a blog with 40k + uniques a day does? Think you’ll honestly be able to convert ONE of my readers into a client, I’d like to see you try, I really would.
Lean the fundamentals of Website Marketing before commenting on blogs for a little controversy and link bait Roy, especially mine, it will go a long way.
Care for round one? Or are you ready to fess up that your actions in replying to Laurens posts were unprofessional, rude and pretty dismal to say the least. Your call.
Lauren, don’t let that dick scare you, he’s trying to get his business started, or at least moving a little. Send a comment with the strings you’re getting, and anything else you want to tell me, ill keep the comment private and see what I can do about it for you.
July 22nd, 2008 at 5:33 pm
Lauren, PM me with an IP address to see if it’s the same. Also, shoot me the # in question so I don’t have to go searching for it
I think i’ll ask a few people to review this guys product as he seems to LOVE printing money!
July 22nd, 2008 at 5:59 pm
I don’t consider my comments on Lauren’s blog “unprofessional”… I thought they were quite funny… even witty.
I never once used ad hominem attacks (as you have).
I think it is you that has explaining to do, at this point. I find your conduct vile and disgusting.
July 22nd, 2008 at 6:07 pm
Vile and disgusting? I’m slightly amused here, would have thought you were accustomed to such things as both are most definitely up your alley. Roy, do you know how the Law here in the US works? If not, consult a lawyer today if you can, please, you know very well why. No case you say? I’m willing to drag it out in courts for a while so why not.
July 22nd, 2008 at 6:10 pm
LOL…
Now Roy is even talking smack about MK on other posts on our blog!

“Well, what can I say about our friend Michael… seems to have gotten his panties in a bunch for no reason. ” says Roy.
July 22nd, 2008 at 6:11 pm
“Roy, do you know how the Law here in the US works?”
Defamation laws? I generally, pay people to know that for me.
Sorta like plumbing… I’m sure I could learn how to “plumb”, but there’s no time. I do however, do my own lawn work. I find it relaxing and enjoyable. Do you garden, Michael?

Garden you say? No i have someone that does that for me Roy.
Defamation? I see you have to brush up and hit those law books Roy, you have a lot of reading to do, a whole lot.
I bet you’re glad you’re printing money right now, I’m sure you’ll need it very soon.
July 22nd, 2008 at 6:29 pm
Roy, you may want to think about getting a new laywer, cause your current one doesn’t seem to be advising you so well…
July 22nd, 2008 at 6:35 pm
Does this roy not know MK’s brother owns a law firm? First word Mk spat out was SUE and it wasn’t meant to be the name of his nanny either
July 22nd, 2008 at 6:36 pm
Well, my current lawyer is on a 3-week bender in Las Vegas, so it’ll be a while before I can make any sense of what he’s saying on the phone. He’s honestly unreachable at this point, and when I do talk to him on the phone, I can’t hear past all the heavy breathing, weezing, and belching. I just hope he’s managed to kick the pain-killers habit, or he’s liable to lose all his money at the blackjack tables. I’ll keep you guys posted, ok?
July 22nd, 2008 at 6:37 pm
I’m not a lawyer and by reading this and about the hacking attacks/attempts I say LoopFuse is in trouble. Michael, he is not worth your time really
July 22nd, 2008 at 6:43 pm
Mike, got a call about this, take it to court, i’m sure you wont mind the court fees but don’t et crooks like this get away with things such as this.
July 22nd, 2008 at 6:45 pm
Can we wait until Don “Fizzy” Pendergrass (our attorney) is back from his bender and cured of his hangover? This could be a few weeks.
July 22nd, 2008 at 6:50 pm
I’m kindly asking you guys to stay out of this (those commenting and not getting their comments through) it’s fine, really.
Also, you know who you are, I appreciate the offer and I honestly don’t need that at all, it’s not an issue that deserves publicizing or anything, he’s wasted enough of all out time, tomorrow, he can start paying for that time, seems only fair.
July 22nd, 2008 at 6:53 pm
I just hope your attorney write litigation papers, like you do blog posts. Name-calling and defaming character should make some interesting reading.
July 22nd, 2008 at 6:55 pm
Roy, apologize, to Lauren, and Troy on their blog, without that hint of sarcasm you love to sprinkle, I don’t even want one for waisting my time and everyone else’s here, and I will let this go. Otherwise the second thing on my to do list for tomorrow morning will be taking this to court. Keep a record of this convo for future ref, and hold me to my word if you wish to do so.
July 22nd, 2008 at 7:42 pm
Roy, what goes around, comes around.
July 22nd, 2008 at 8:36 pm
Consider the title and content of this blog-post, your threats of legal action, ad hominem attacks, and internet bullying… and now you want me to do what? Why? This blog will remain here, with all the slandering included, so really… whats the upside? Nada. And yes, all of this information has already been stored for “future ref”.
As for Lauren/Troy… even my honest attempts were met with fangs, so…
July 22nd, 2008 at 9:15 pm
I’m willing to take responsibilities for my own actions on this blog, questions is, are you? I’m also willing to leave it at that as you made a genuine attempt to say sorry. Thread closed unless someone wants to take it a notch further, then be my guest, free country after all.
July 22nd, 2008 at 9:19 pm
You know what’s funny in all of this is that your fanbase and likely, you, would probably enjoy a tour of the product. We’re doing some really innovative stuff, that I’m sure you guys will enjoy. I got my start a looooong time ago as a web designer, and still maintain several website that serve tens-of-millions of pages /mo. I understand the community, where you’re coming from, and what you offer customers. It’s a shame my sarcasm (yes, I’m worse in person) was misunderstood, and I really didn’t mean to offend.
I, like you, make it VERY obvious when I offend. This was not an attack, and I’m sorry it was miscontstrued to be that. Yes, I do take responsibilities for my actions… I’m a libertarian, after all.
If you’d like to reach out to me in person, I wouldn’t mind showing you, Lauren, and others what it is we offer. It goes beyond Web Analytics, yet you will see us moving in to the SEO space shortly as well.
July 22nd, 2008 at 9:44 pm
Keep it real Roy.
Your post is out there now as well as your site and the services you provide.
End of discussion.
